The US Census Bureau reports that the nation's Hispanic population is expected to jump to 49.3 million from 38.2 million by 2015.
It is estimated that by 2050, there will be 56 million Hispanics/Latinos in the US; that means 30% of the entire U.S. population will be Hispanic.
