Offer fun week-long Spanish language camps for kids 6 to 12 years old.

 Classes meet at HWB's Scout House, 34 Village Square, Glendale.

 

¡Los Animales! (ages 6-8 & ages 9-12 )

Our animal camp is a terrific first exposure to Spanish.  We have something for all animal lovers, from Bugs! Bugs! Bugs! to our own Teddy Bear picnic.  Each day a different animal group is featured, along with games, crafts and activities targeting specific Spanish vocabulary.  Children are separated into 2 groups, 6-8 years old & 9-12 years old. 

Dates: July7-11 M-F   Time: 9:30am – 11:30 am or 12:00-2:00 pm Cost: $160

 

Instructors:  Cincinnati Spanish Academy teacher profiles available at their website:  cincinnatispanishacademy.com.  HWB instructor Paul Breidenbach has taught Spanish locally at the Schilling School for Gifted Children, Bethany School, Leaves of Learning, Wyoming primary schools, and the HWB Community Center since 1997.  He learned Spanish as a child in Latin America.

Directions: The main entrance to the Scout House is on Sharon Road, between the tracks and Willow, on the south side of the street (left if you're coming from I-75).  Parking available in the lot next to the chapel.
